WELCOME TO HÄLGÖ KAYAK
Hälgö Kayak is located in the heart of the archipelago in Sörmland, near the Nature Reserve Stendörren and the city Nyköping – conveniently close to both Stockholm and Skavsta Airport.
There are plenty of idyllic islands just outside the bay to explore, and there are several of accommodation-options available around the archipelago for those who not wish to camp overnight.
We offer both kayaks and stand-up paddleboards for rent. With up to 70 rental seats available, we welcome larger groups, corporate events and school classes.
We strive to keep our rental up-to-date with the latest kayaks to accommodate all types of paddlers and to also provide the opportunity to thoroughly test if you are intrested in buying.

With us, you can rent both simple beginner kayaks and more advanced models for one or two people.

Package - Accommodation and Kayak Package at Sävö Hostel!
Summer Season 2024 – We offer two different package deals in collaboration with Sävö Hostel and Café:
- Kayak Package Hälgö-Sävö (one or two nights)
- Kayak and Hiking Package Hälgö-Sävö (two nights)
Experience a unique and scenic stay by booking the adventure package with accommodation at Sävö Hostel & Café. Start your day by paddling through the archipelago and end it with a sauna session and a refreshing dip in the sea at Sävö. You grill the dinner over an open fire at the designated barbecue area.
Paddle from the mainland by Hälgö Kajak, using sea kayaks (K1 or K2). Once you arrive at Sävö, you’ll stay comfortably at the hostel. Environmentally friendly toilets and showers are available in a separate building nearby. Spend one or two nights at their hostel and enjoy the nature, hiking trails and café before paddling back to us on the departure day.

Find Us
From Stockholm – Take exit 138 Trosa/Vagnhärad from the E4 highway and follow the signs for 219 towards Studsvik. Continue on road 219 for about 26 km until you reach Hälgö Kajak on the left side (follow the sign).
From the south – Take exit 134 from the E4 highway at Påljungshage/Nyköping Ö. Keep right and follow the signs for road 223/road 219/Mariefred/Studsvik. Follow road 219 towards Studsvik, after about 22 km you will find Hälgö Kajak on the right side (follow the sign).
By bus: Bus 554, 534, and 656 all pass by the kayak rental, the bus stop is called Helgö. For the easiest way to find out about schedules and connections, click HÄR
